Supervising Medical Director

Dr. Ventrudo joined New York Spine Institute in 2018 as a Pain Management Specialist performing interventional procedures and the medical management of pain. He is also a certified acupuncturist and has extensive experience in treating sports and spine-related injuries. As an interventional pain medicine physician, Dr. Ventrudo takes a multidisciplinary approach to provide a full range of treatments and services to patients suffering from chronic or acute pain. This philosophy fits perfectly with NYSI’s comprehensive approach to patient care.

Dr. Ventrudo also has deep experience in the Aesthetics field. He has experience serving as a supervising medical director for med spas helping each patient reach their cosmetic goals. He is knowledgeable on all medical aesthetic treatments and protocols.

A retired Commissioned Lieutenant in the United States Naval Reserve, Dr. Ventrudo previously was the Medical Director at his alma mater, New York Maritime College, where he served as the team physician for all varsity sports.

Dr. Ventrudo belongs to numerous professional medical organizations, including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, and the New York Society of Acupuncture for Physicians and Dentists. He received his medical training at Montefiore Medical Center’s Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation program and completed a Neuromuscular/Pain Fellowship at New York University Medical Center as well as a surgical internship at a level one trauma center. He earned his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Dublin Ireland.

Nurse Practitioner - Board Certified

Betsy Abramova, MSN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in aesthetic medicine, with a refined approach focused on natural, subtle enhancements. She is passionate about helping patients look refreshed and confident while preserving their unique features.

She brings a strong and diverse clinical background, including experience in the Emergency Department and as a Labor and Delivery nurse, as well as practicing as a Nurse Practitioner in internal medicine. This depth of experience allows her to approach every treatment with advanced clinical judgment, precision, and a meticulous focus on patient safety.

Betsy brings strong medical expertise to every treatment she performs. Her goal is to provide a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their care. She is dedicated to ongoing education and staying at the forefront of aesthetic medicine, ensuring each patient receives personalized treatments with natural, balanced, and refined results.

Patient Care Coordinator and Front Desk

Eva Alexandra S C is a Patient Care Coordinator and Front Desk professional who specializes in creating a seamless, welcoming experience for every client. As the first point of contact, she plays a key role in setting the tone for each visit, ensuring clients feel comfortable, valued, and well taken care of from the moment they arrive. She focuses on patient communication, appointment coordination, and front desk operations, delivering an organized and efficient experience that supports both client satisfaction and smooth daily workflows.

With hands-on experience in fast-paced aesthetic and wellness environments, Eva brings a strong foundation in customer service and operational support. She is skilled in managing schedules, assisting with client needs, and maintaining a calm, professional presence in high-volume settings. Her attention to detail and ability to anticipate client needs allow her to contribute to a streamlined, positive experience for both clients and the clinical team.

Tamari is a licensed esthetician specializing in advanced skin treatments, with a strong clinical foundation supported by her nursing education from the Republic of Georgia. She focuses on skin tightening, laser hair removal, and treating concerns such as melasma, discoloration, and acne scarring, delivering safe and results-driven treatments tailored to each client’s unique needs. Her approach is gentle yet precise, prioritizing customized treatment plans that enhance natural, beautiful results while maintaining the highest standards of safety and care.

With over six years of experience, including four years in a medical spa setting as both an esthetician and manager, Tamari has worked with a wide range of skin types and conditions. Her background allows her to combine technical expertise with a personalized approach, recognizing that no two clients are the same. She is committed to ongoing learning and continuously refining her skills to stay aligned with the latest advancements in the industry.
