Combining Your Microneedling Treatment With Platelet Rich Fibrin
Our team can combine your microneedling treatment with PRP. This helps to give you the very best results. PRP takes a sample of your own blood to create a concentrated cocktail that is microneedled and injected into your skin. This contains many growth factors that work to heal and treat your skin. If you have pigmentation issues, fine lines, or scarring we do recommend trying PRP along with your microneedling treatment.
How Does the Microneedling Treatment Work?
Our skilled staff begins by numbing your skin with a topical numbing cream. Once you are feeling numb our medical staff will use a special hand-held device that contains fine needles. Depending on your skin’s needs your provider will customize the depth depending on your anatomy and skin concerns. Overall, this treatment takes between 15-30 minutes and most patients have little downtime afterwards.
You may notice your skin is red but this should subside after a day or so. Patients may have some peeling after the treatment that is similar to having a sunburn. Our medical staff will create a customized treatment plan that works best for your skin, and help you plan your next appointment at our spa. Multiple treatments are typically recommended to get the very best results.
